Humanitarian Minister Bags IHRC Diplomatic Most Trusted Public Office Holder Awards in Abuja

The hon Minister of Humanitarian affairs, Disaster Managment and social developemnt.
While reminisced the significant of the honour, Sani revealed that the choice of the Humanitarian Minister for the award donation was in line with THRCs search for transparency, accountability and due diligence among public officials. He added that the diplomatic body has conducted an extensive and thorough speculations of fund diversion by the ministry under the watch of the Hajiya Faroug, and found such to be unfound. He therefore tasks the Hon Minister on collaboration with the IHIRC in Nigeria as he urged the ministry to tap into the voluntary work opportunity which he said IHRC under his leadership would be ready to offer.
According to Amb.Sani, he maintained that though he did not hold any brief for public office holders or any individuals in government offices on cortuotion, he said it is high time individuals begin for crimes committed by them rather than
coordinating office at No. 12, Oke Agbe Street, Off Ladoja Akintola Boulevard, Garki II, Abuja. Our Mandate is to monitor violation and compliance of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights by the United Nations in 1948. We also intervene for the Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons, Victims of War. Promotion of Justice and Peace in the World amongst others. We are equally a federation of Human Rights Arbitration Court under which we mediate between bodies to bodies, government and the people to achieve peace without necessarily choosing the option of protests and demonstrations as way of expressing grievances or making demands. This new model of crisis resolution has been tested by our World class | mediators which have worked in many countries in the World; eg – Ukraine. Lebanon and other countries around the world.
Our visit today without wasting your time is to disclose our 3years investigation over Human Rights Violations and Compliance in Nigeria.
There are two most important disclosure we will want to make here which convinced will attract criticism especially by the opposition party in
Nigeria. They are: The question of who is responsible for violations of Human Rights and non Compliance. The question of judicious utilization of funds deployed by the Federal Government to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
Disaster Management and Social Development. Our findings on the above questions: Clearly indicated that individual persons with delegated powers are
responsible for Violations of Human Rights and Non compliance and thereby Mr President widely claimed by many Nigerians. To salve this, we have since adopted a strategy which we call individual responsibility offense. Under this strategy, we no longer hold states responsible for human rights violations and non compliance but the individual who occupy such public office. Our regional organization which have received several complains over financial irregularities, diversion of funds meant for the poor people of Nigeria by the Ministry of Humanitarian Allairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, prompted our close to 2years investigation with our world class security organization partner known as the International Police Corporation which is the highest International Police Security Network in the World, to investigate and track down these allegations. The report we have received from our International Police Network has proven negative of any money diversion
linked directly or indirectly to the Hon. Minister: And this has compelled the resolution of our Advisory Board to honour the Hon. Minister as First Nigeria Most Trusted Woman in Public Office. organization does not foreclose likely sharp practices of those driving the humanitarian project which our searchlight would soon disclose to the
Hon. Minister: Similarly, we are not unaware of some of the senior stafts who have done very well in terms of display of high level of integrity in the management of the above exercise and very soon such hardworking officers of the ministry will also be presented win our medals of honour. I wish to salute the courage of the Hon. Minister for approving this visit. This further explains your confidence in the transparent manner which you have utilized the money meant for the Nigerian people through your Ministry Furthermore, your approval of this visit also displays your readiness for a successful, peaceful new Nigeria. And this is why we cannot see this visit as a mare donation of a diplomatic award but instead for our International Organization to contribute solving problems which has led to several deaths and disease in our dear country. Our 5years of existence and studies in Nigeria has shown that 14 what look like religious crisis, ethnicity cultism, and political thugry among other social vices are all born out of youth unemployment and lack of skill for our young population from the secondary school education to tertiary institutions graduates. This defect, has yearly made our young people idle at the end of every graduation, and an idle man is often described as the devil’s workshop. Assuming that, Mr. President did not approve the creation of your Ministry which has cushion the effect of unemployment syndrome through the N-Power and The Covid-19 loan facility to young people, the situation would have been better imagined. That is why we wish to take this advantage to appeal to you on three critical areas: The Hon. Minister should consider an immediate action on the complains from our young people over the two months arrears of N-Power stipend.
In profiling solution to our youth unemployment problems in Nigeria, Our partner has carefully computed a proposal known as One Student, One Skill for both Secondary and
Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria. We urge the Hon. Minister to adopt this Proposal with a policy statement in this occasion and owning to complains we have received with claims that the chunk of expenditure of the Ministry is in Northern Nigeria, We have considered holding the summit to launch the project One Student, One Skill in the Niger Delta area. If this is approved, it will go a long way to finally eradicate and change the mindset of the currently quiet militants in the Niger Delta and it
will also prove that the government of Nigeria is not taking the quietism of the militants for granted. International Humanitarian Rights Commission in Nigeria has about 50,000 volunteers currently in Nigeria with regional and zonal coordinators across Nigeria and for the purpose of feedback, we urge the Hon. Minister to admit our Volunteers as Volunteers of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
